DJ Language - Rubber Band/Dance Across The Floor 12"

This is highly recommended! Here's the description of it from boomkat:

A new series of bespoke limited edition custom edits from DJ Language, one of the newest and brightest stars on the international DJ scene, who tears it up all around town with his unique blend of funk, rare soul, deep disco, breakbeats and electro. All Editions Disco releases come in distinctive and intricate hand designed metallicgold embossed sleeves, and the sound quality is great. The series begins with an edit of The Trammps’ rare soul classic ‘Rubber Band’, recently sampled for The Game’s monster hit ‘Hate It Or Love It’. Savvy beatdiggers know that the track was ingeniously chopped by producers Cool & Dre, making for an awkward blend between the original and The Game’s track. Language’s killer edit expertly recreates those chops, making for an easy – and lethal – blend, certified monkey-style bananas! The B-side features a gritty edit of ‘Dance Across The Floor’, the b-boy & dancefloor funk classic by Jimmy “Bo” Horne, worked into a sweaty lather by Shux aka leftfield dance superstar Brennan Green (Balihu / Modal / Bear Funk). The track is distilled into its funkiest, dancefloor-filling essence, and is sure to be a favorite tool of the discerning selector.
